Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team to enhance their performance.

Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise sales associates.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Customer Service:
- Ensure that the sales team delivers exceptional customer service.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Train staff on customer service best practices.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with the inventory control team to optimize stock levels.
Visual Merchandising:
- Oversee the organization and layout of merchandise to enhance the shopping experience.
- Implement visual merchandising standards to attract customers and drive sales.
Budgeting and Reporting:
- Develop and manage the department budget.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to achieve overall business goals.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to optimize product offerings and pricing.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Senior Certificate or a related field (preferred) – 10 years Sales experience.
- Proven experience in FMCG retail sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales performance data.
- Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service best practices.
