Job Presentation

Objective

The Finance Manager ensures robust financial management, reporting, and compliance for the business by overseeing day-to-day financial operations, improving controls, and providing strategic insights to the management team.

Summary of duties:      

  • Oversee all day-to-day financial and administrative functions and prepare timely and accurate financial reports for the management team.
  • Develop and maintain internal financial policies and procedures to strengthen overall financial control and assist with ERP implementation.
  • Monitor and manage project financing requirements, including drawdowns, cash flow forecasts, and repayment schedules.
  • Ensure full compliance with SRC, including taxes, PIT, VAT, and withholding tax obligations, while staying updated on regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate with auditors to finalize group annual audits and maintain related secretarial and compliance records.
  • Liaise with banks, insurance, and regulatory authorities and address compliance matters.
  • Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance.
  • Supervise and guide the finance team to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness in achieving organizational goals.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to assist in strategic decision-making, cost control, and profitability improvement.
  • Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts, monitoring variances and suggesting corrective actions.

Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related professional qualification
  • 5+ years of progressive financial management experience, ideally within the property development or construction sector.
  • Previous experience is ERP implementation would be added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, other MS application
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and communicate with external stakeholders.
